Edinburgh Day 3

Liam took Monday morning off to take Morgan to her appointment to get her hair done at the groom on the other side of the city. Dogs are allowed on the public transportation and this would be Morgan’s first trip. She waited patiently for the tram but Liam and I were surprised when the doors of the tram opened and it was very full! Morgan definitely parts the way, though! First she sat in the luggage area, then moved to her own seat when someone got off the tram.

Mike and I spent the rest of the morning getting to know the city, walking mile after mile. Like other European cities there were many coffee shops. Somehow we found ourselves in one near a women’s college–if you look close you can see Mike, the lone man, squeezing up to the counter with all the young women 🙂

Also like other European cities, we discovered many bookstores, a great joy for us! One store was just a block from their flat and we visited many times!

It was such an amazing day we decided to take Morgan back to Calton Hill.

The grass there is soft and no fire ants. From atop the hill you can see their flat, only a few blocks away from this amazing greenspace.

We were all tired that evening. The full moon rose early in the sky across the street as we settled for the night.
